Is there a 17-0 football game?

Each turn reveals a random NFL team and season. Take one player for an open spot: quarterback, running back, either wide receiver spot, tight end, flex, kicker or the team’s defense. A running back, receiver or tight end can fill the flex spot. After eight picks, the game weighs every spot and gives your roster a team rating out of 100.

Quarterback carries the most weight at 26.6% of the rating, then defense at 19%. Running back and the first receiver count 11.4% each, the second receiver and flex 9.5% each, tight end 7.6% and kicker 5%. Get the quarterback and the defense right and you’ve set almost half the rating.

The football Daily Challenge starts everyone on the same draft with a 30-second clock on each pick. Year, Franchise and Super Bowl Drafts narrow the pool to one season, one franchise or championship teams.

Yes. The record starts at 8.5 wins and adds 0.2 wins for each rating point above 50, with a cap at 17. A 90 rating reaches 16.5 wins, which rounds up to 17-0. The best players in the catalogue rate in the high 90s at every spot, so a perfect season is possible. You need the right teams to show up while those spots are still open.
