How rankings work
Records are game estimates for a 162-game season. Higher estimated wins earn a higher rank. Equal wins rank by team rating, then hitting, starting rotation and closer. Rows share a rank only when all of those numbers match, so two managers tied for first are followed by third place. Earlier recorded time, then username, orders those tied rows. Choose Compare on any two rows to see their rosters side by side.
Each board opens on This month: every account’s best ranked roster finished in the current Eastern calendar month, from November 2026. Month boards count drafts started as ranked plays and list signed-in accounts only. All-time keeps every eligible roster, including guest entries published earlier. At 12:30 AM Eastern on the 1st, each board’s leader for the month that just ended is crowned its champion, with one per season on Year boards and one per team on Franchise boards. Managers tied on every number share the title, and titles show on the board and the champion’s profile.
The Daily’s month board adds up each account’s ranked Daily result for every day of the month, and its All-time board adds them up from October 29, 2026. Today shows a single day and its rosters. More total wins rank higher, then fewer total losses, then the higher total team rating, then hitting, starting rotation and closer. If every total matches, they share a rank and are listed by who finished their last Daily first.
Outside the Daily, each account's first 3 drafts started on a leaderboard each Eastern day are ranked (5 with DreamDraft Pro). Later drafts that day, and guest drafts, are practice and stay off the board.
Each board keeps one best roster per manager, except Franchise Draft, which keeps one per manager for each franchise. Its default board ranks all franchises together; choose a club to see only that franchise. Daily compares the same dated challenge and keeps your best of up to three ranked attempts. Daily practice and owner test attempts are unranked. Year compares the same season. Time Machine, Year and Franchise drafts use the standard collection without custom date ranges or team-record filters.
World Series Draft has a separate board for the full champions pool from 1903 through 2025. Narrower season ranges and franchise-only champions drafts do not qualify for that board. Equivalent date ranges that retain the full champions pool also qualify. Your best eligible World Series Draft roster counts once per manager.
Daily rankings use the saved challenge for the selected date. Other boards admit the supported standard pools. Each player is rated against his own league that season, and the boards rank rosters drafted with those ratings. Earlier saved professional-history pools remain eligible alongside new MLB-recognized major-league pools. Each public roster identifies its saved pool. Eligible World Series Draft rosters already saved in your account can count. Older rosters created before leaderboard support remain in your account and are not added retroactively. Private league and tournament rosters and converted Daily practice drafts do not enter these boards. Guest entries published earlier stay on the Daily, Time Machine, Year Draft, Franchise Draft and World Series Draft boards. New guest drafts are practice and stay off the boards; sign in to play ranked. An older eligible saved guest result can still be submitted from its own result page; simply opening a board or result does not publish old results.
Eligible guest entries have a Guest label, estimated result and public roster. A screened name is optional and may include spaces. A chosen name stays fixed for that leaderboard scope, including a Daily date, Year Draft season or Franchise Draft club. Guest names are temporary, do not reserve a registered username and have no player profile. Each browser session has one entry per board scope. From October 29, 2026, the Daily ranks only signed-in accounts, each with one ranked play. Other boards keep the best eligible published result in their scope; Franchise Draft allows one entry for each club. Clearing cookies can create a new guest identity, so a Guest label does not establish one person per entry. You can withdraw your guest entry from its result page while you still have that browser session. Guest entries stop appearing when the original session expires or is removed, or when its drafts transfer to an account.
Registered entries on every board require a chosen public username and a verified account. Ranked entries have a public roster showing the selected players, seasons and positions. Your email, real name and private competition details stay private. If your account is closed or disabled, its entry is removed. Read the game rules.
